Alerion Platform Bed

Our favorite example of clean, curvaceous styling from the mid twentieth century. The Alerion platform bed is handcrafted of substantial hardwood planks and features our hand-rubbed espresso finish. The thick shaped headboard plank is attached with hand forged brackets. As a platform bed it requires the use of a mattress only and includes a sturdy, padded wood platform for proper mattress support. Queen bed pictured above.

Review: "We bought this bed about 6 months ago because we wanted something with a low headboard. We liked the style which is much lighter than the chunky big headboard on the old bed. Also, we wanted to rearrange the furniture and there was a window in the way. This bed enabled us to turn the bed around in the room with the headboard under the window. So far we love this bed. It is well constructed and beautiful. There is no need for a boxspring. Very comfortable. Have no complaints with the product or the company."
