Thanksgiving is fast approaching and with it, the Christmas shopping rush, but nobody sent the memo up to whoever’s in control of the weather because we’ve been getting all kinds of unexpected curveballs these past few weeks. It snowed all over certain portions of the country just a week ago, but the last few days have been unseasonably warm. We’re totally confused here! Guess we better count our blessings and enjoy the warm streak while it lasts because there’s nothing but cool temperatures on the horizon.
Erratic weather aside, we wanted to bring a neat website to your attention. It’s called Project Nursery, and it follows various folks’ quests to furnish and decorate their children’s rooms. Included are helpful bits of advice on what their inspirations were and where they found certain key items in the room. This past week’s project is entitled “A Girl’s Paradise”, and it is an attempt not only to furnish a gorgeous room for the designer’s three year old daughter, but to give her a room that would stay with her for years to come. We’re happy to note that the centerpiece of this particular room is a Charles P. Rogers bed, namely, our Rutherford daybed. We wish Maria and her daughter many years of health and prosperity, and we’re glad to be a part of their lovely home. Take care.
