Review: "Ordered the above products exactly as shown in the photograph. I had several questions and the salesperson was very helpful especially on questions I had concerning which mattress I ought to get. All the items arrived actually a day ahead of schedule [their delivery people were terrific]. The directions made it easy to assemble the platform bed which is a work of art in itself: beautifully made. All items including fasteners, etc. were of the best quality, everything fit as it should. A joy to see something that well made in today's times. The bed is wonderful to sleep in. I have not slept as well as I have in this bed, in years. All in all my experience with Charles P. Rogers could not have been better. I would not hesitate to recommend them and would not go to anyone else for another bed purchase. Additionally, I would add, that I bought all of the items on sale which made the purchase an exceptional value as well."

Review: "This is the second platform bed I have purchased from Charles P. Rogers Beds Direct. I did alot of research on platform beds and all the beds sold on this website, platforms included, I believe are very well made beds. I received my shipment promptly and in excellent condition. I am a female in her late 50's and bought the Mies Platform Bed for a shore condo that I remodeled. I was able to assemble the bed myself without any assistance. It took about an hour. I especially like the steel beam running down the center of the bed which makes it unusually sturdy compared to other platform beds. And the 4 panels which slip easily in place, provide a proper base. Since I wouldn't be using the bed all the time, I bought a futon mattress which works out wonderfully. I just added a memoryfoam topper to soften it up. Sleeping on the bed is supremely confortable and I think it can handle alot of weight if put to the test. There is plenty of room underneath the bed for storage too. I can't imagine anyone who likes the bed being disappointed in it. It is a great value for the cost."

Review: "I was on my way to purchase a bed I saw at West Elm when I happened to notice a sale sign at Charles P. Rogers, so I went in. I saw a platform bed in bamboo that I liked immediately and it suited the other pieces in my apartment. The sales person was very helpful, explaining the sturdy yet sleek design. I've had my bed for over a month and I love it. I'm so happy I happened to walk past the 17th street store and that they had a sale going on."

Review: "I love the simple, fluid design of the bed. When my contractor opened the box for assembly..the nuts and bolts and screws fell out all over the tile floor. They were loose for fifteen minutes til we corralled all of them. He found the directions lacking and needed a drill for part of the assembly.... but the bed is beautiful..and I am happy with it."

Review: "This is my second platform bed from Charles P. Rogers. I did a lot of internet research and when done, decided this company had the best quality beds and for the most reasonable amount of money. Sure, I could have purchased cheaper products, but the quality of my Mies platform bed was important. The bed was delivered promptly (free shipping too!) in a few separate boxes. I put it together by myself in about an hour (I am a 55 yr. old woman) and it looks beautiful. The platform itself is not a bunch of exposed slats, but four pieces/padded platforms, that slip into each quarter of the bed's frame perfectly. Very sturdy too. I would not hesitate to buy this bed. The bamboo color and wood looks great in my beach condo."

Review: "This bed is so well made. The put together is simple. Don\'t do what we did and tighten everything down before the end. Obey the instructions! Only problem for us....we are \" older \" and will probably find a way to extend the legs higher....a bit too low to get up from easily. T\'would be good to have had an option of longer legs. Other than that the mahogany version is gorgeous. This is our second Charles Rogers bed. So rare to find this caliber of quality in any products today. Thanks so much."

Review: "We have been using this bed frame for almost one month. It arrived as scheduled with excellent packing. Everything was in perfect condition. The mahogany is beautiful. We put the frame together in less than 1/2 hour. All of the parts and tools were included. We find the platform much more comfortable than our old box spring. The frame comes in four boxes; so no one box is too heavy."

I'm very satisfied...I almost made the serious mistake of purchasing a platform bed from IKEA. I'm glad I chose Chas. P. Rogers for my purchase ... The quality, sturdiness was excellent. The tiger mahogony finish was true to color as displayed on web page... my only regret is I really wanted a queen size platform but since I'm in a studio apt, I went with the twin size. When I get that apt with a bedroom I will be back to purchase a queen size platform bed. Friends that have seen it thought it was extra seating because of the colorful duvet covering the 14 inch pillowtop mattress (no foundation was needed) brings the height up just a little above the couch's height. I'm really satisfied and my friends really liked it too."

Review: "This platform bed is excellent quality, a good height, and has a simple design for all decorations. It had clear directions and solid parts. The wall headboard was well made and easy to install. The picture makes the headboard appear to be higher than it is because it is hung higher on the wall. One drawback - the corners of the bed are very pointed and sharp. I have run into them several times and have bruises on my legs. If the corners were softer, it would be a perfect bed."
