Tall and dramatic, our Mahogany Sleigh Platform is based on a classic French Lit Bateau design. Contemporary in proportion and detailing, it has upholstered decks for use with a mattress only. Solid Mahogany construction and a vivid ribbon mahogany veneer panel make this bed the centerpiece of any bedroom. Hand applied multi-layer medium mahogany finish accentuates the natural grain and depth of the solid Mahogany. An excellent choice for extra thick mattresses.

"I am so pleased with the purchase of this platform sleigh bed and for many reasons...... the quality of the bed itself is unsurpassed. Ordering on line can be a scary thing.....but the photos are true to the real thing lacking only in their inability to convey the workmanship. I purchased the bed to use with a tempurpedic mattress and it works beautifully with that. Even, the crate the bed came in was a work of art and the delivery men were so professional, I had no worries. It was a real joy to make this purchase .....thanks to the folks to helped me on the phone as well. They were very patient when I asked for several measurements. I highly recommend this bed and this company. Lisa from the mountains in Virginia"

"This is the perfect bed for a NYC apartment. It has a beautiful platform and headboard and a low profile which is perfect for an apartment bedroom that is not very big. It is so well made. The delivery was flawless. This is my 3rd Charles P Rogers purchase and I highly recommend this bed."

"I never thought I would spend this amount of money on a bed but once I received the bed I knew that it was worth it. A friend of mine had purchased a bed earlier in the year and it was absolutely beautiful so I started doing research on this company. The bed is quality constructed, beautifully finished, classic design, and I can't say enough good things about it.. I actually bought the bed and had it delivered...unfortunately I had no idea how heavy the bed was or I would have paid the extra money to have someone put it together. It didn't take me long to put the bed together but it is a solid piece of furniture and I have shown all my friends the website!!! I will be buying another sleigh bed "The Grenoble Sleigh Bed" within the next several months.
I highly recommend the beds as they are quality built and the sales staff are awesome!!!!"

Furniture Delivery Service
Beds that are in stock ship within a few days. The "Shipping Class", based on weight and size, is listed underneath the prices for each style. Delivery charges within the lower 48 states for each Class are listed below. Our furniture deliveries are made by express carrier. Service includes delivery inside your front door. Because our beds are large, bulky items, we recommend you arrange for another person to help with assembly. Service to Alaska, Hawaii and worldwide is also available at reasonable rates, please call a showroom for more information.

This bed is constructed from solid, genuine Mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla) considered to be one of the finest furniture woods in the world due to it's beauty, durability and working properties. We use only FAS grade "first and seconds" lumber, the highest industry grade available. All of our Mahogany beds utilize only legal and ecologically sustainable plantation grown Mahogany. Our use of carefully managed and harvested Mahogany insures that your investment in a Charles P. Rogers bed is sound both from an environment standpoint as well as an aesthetic one. This Mahogany bed is a product that will remain useful for generations and is manufactured with careful and thoughtful use of natural resources. We believe this is most sound practice as a bed that continues it's usefulness for multiple generations minimizes the need for replacement items.

Your bed purchase will come carefully packaged and includes:

- interior metal frame system to support your box spring and mattress, queen and king sizes come with additional center support
- detailed assembly instructions
- all hardware and hand tools necessary for assembly
- mattress, box spring and bedding are NOT included.
