Review: "I got this bed to match an antique deco mahogany dresser and chest I recently inherited from my grandmother- since most of my home is VERY modern and mid-century modern, I still wanted to blend them in the bedroom as these pieces were important to me. The bed is PERFECT. It was easy to put together and is gorgeous."

Review: "This is a very solid and stylish platform bed. It is exactly what we were looking for. After looking at several frames and platforms we decided on this one because we did not want a headboard and wanted something contemporary with a modern flair to match existing furniture. This was it. Shipping was very quick although came in two separate shipments from UPS, but it was packaged well with clear directions."

Review: "I purchased this bed in king size for my daughter who is living in another state. A few weeks into using the bed, one of the side rails split. I was heartsick, thinking that the bed was now useless. She contacted the company, emailed pictures to them, and received a prompt response. They said that they would replace the rail at no cost, but shipping would have to be paid (ouch). The part arrived in about 1 week, as promised. I\'m not sure why the spit occurred, however, the company\'s response was very professional. With the cost of shipping the rail at $65, their free shipping on the initial bed orders is a huge plus. The bed is very heavy and the finish is very smooth. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because of our unfortunate rail split. I am hopeful that this was a fluke and that the bed performs well into the future without any further problems. It certainly looks like it should last forever!"

Review: "i recently moved and wanted to upgrade my bed. i had a few simple requirements: solid wood in a dark finish, low platform style and simple lines. i live in los angeles and therefore thought this would be easy, right? no. after exhaustive searches around town and on the internet, the only bed i could find that even came close was at west elm - an online order only (of course). i was ready to order it and pay the exorbitant delivery fee when all of a sudden it was "no longer available" (in the dark finish i liked). i was about to give up. i could not find anything. i even considered building a bed! in one last attempt, i did a google image search for "platform bed solid wood" and started to look at pictures, hoping to find something - somewhere - that caught my eye. sure enough, i came across this bed. i was hoping that i would be able to see it in person, but the only stores were on the east coast. so i mulled over the idea of purchasing something over the internet, relying solely on photos. not finding any other options, i decided to bite the bullet and order it. according to the website they had a great return policy and the purchase felt safe. i was also very happy to find out that they offered the ability to delay delivery... my move date had unexpectedly been pushed back and i would not have been able to accept the delivery as originally planned. the customer service representative was extremely helpful and this gave me hope. my bed arrived in several boxes, but i was pleasantly surprised by the ease of assembly. sure enough, the bed was even better than expected. it looks great and feels very sturdy. i have been sleeping on it for a month now, and i am extremely satisfied with my purchase in every way."

Review: "This platform bed is quality construction. It is extremely solid and stable with it's steel support beam and thick feet. I've had the bed for about 8 months and would definitely purchase again. It even came with a bottle of touch up stain and great assembly instructions. Review: "I bought this bed for my son for his apartment in Washington, DC. It is perfect for his foam mattress and does well in a bedroom with limited space.
