Beautifully hand crafted in solid, plantation grown Mahogany with a beautifully figured flame veneer panel carefully book matched for the most attractive transition of grain and color. Each bed is truly unique, the product of unusual tree growth found in approximately one out of a thousand trees. The hand-rubbed finish highlights the natural beauty and character of the wood grain. Review: "Before I bought the Charles P. Rogers Sleigh bed, I'd looked at hundreds of products and spoken to many stores and manufacturers. I wanted solid wood, solid construction, and a platform bed I could use with a 9" latex mattress, all toward making my bedroom chemically safer with less off-gassing of harmful VOCs from pressed-wood products and fire retardants. The salespersons answered all my questions and helped me decide that my somewhat unorthodox mattress would work. The sleight bed is the perfect platform bed. It has a beautiful low profile and an elegant and classy design. The workmanship and quality is superb. The finish looks like a liquid. Solid, well designed parts assemble into a rock-solid frame. No wiggling, squeaking or feelings of thinness. Delivered with great care by a dedicated carrier, it came with clear instructions. I weigh 120 pounds and unpacked it and put it together by myself. (dragging the heavy parts on a blanket across the wood floor and using the handy cardboard blocks thoughtfully included to hold up the rails on one end while you work on the other.) I recommend this bed heartily and entirely without reservation."

Review: "I looked all over for a sleigh bed that looked good and was high quality, and finally settled on this one. I was a little hesitant at first due to the price, but I really wanted something that would last. I couldn't be happier with it! My dad helped my husband set it up and kept saying, "Gosh, this is a really nice bed" over and over while they were assembling it. He's very hard to impress and has a lot of experience with furniture, so I know he was really impressed. The bed is very sturdy and looks gorgeous--I'm very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it!"
