Trundle Daybed in Leather from America's Oldest Bed-MakerLooking for a unique trundle/daybed in leather? You'll find one here. since 1855, Charles P. Rogers has designed and manufactured original beds, daybeds, headboards, trundle beds, canopy beds and bedding. Our product line has evolved to include wood and leather bed styles as well as high quality bed linens that will complement any of our elegant beds or daybeds. Our Suitcase leather trundle/daybed, in the tradition of 1930’s European design, makes subtle, sophisticated use of curves in a contemporary form. Upholstered in black or brown top-grain leather over a hardwood frame it includes the matching leather bed skirt. Luggage style detailing is evident in decorative use of top stitching on the perimeter and panels of the headboard and footboard. The suitcase bed uses standard twin mattress. The trundle unit is optional and stores under a mattress underneath the daybed. The trundle bed pulls out and pops up for use as a second bed when needed. The Suitcase daybed makes subtle, sophisticated use of curves in a contemporary form. View our complete trundle bed and daybed selection.
The framework for each of our leather beds is handcrafted from kiln-dried hardwood. Upholstery is built up in multiple layers to provide ideal firmness and comfort with special attention given to maintaining the shape and contour of the final form. Advanced heat-sensitive memory foam can be found exclusivelt on many Charles P. Rogers beds. Its advantage is that as it senses body temperature and pressure, it conforms to the required shape. Yet it returns to its full, original shape when pressure is removed. The comfort is exceptional with the added benefit of retaining its full, upholstered form without sagging or wrinkling. The bed rails are crafted from solid planks of plantation-grown mahogany and feature a concealed, solid steel inner rail that provides superior support for the mattress and boxspring along the periphery and in the center of the bed. By necessity, we remain a small family-owned business as our products cannot be mass-produced. The advantage for you is that our staff knows and cares how beds are made and we know how to get them to your home efficiently, economically and professionally assembled. After all, who wants to buy a fine bed only to have it arrive damaged or incorrectly assembled? We offer our products directly to the public from our website, Manhattan factory showroom and catalog, as well our New Jersey Clearance Center.
