The Covid-19 situation is still evolving. No matter the change, our first priority will always be the health and well being of our customers, staff, and partners. We are monitoring and adapting all health and safety recommendations as currently expressed by Federal, State, and Local authorities. We will be updating our procedures and policies as required for the health of our communities.

As always, our master bed makers, warehouse, and support teams are still on the payroll, ready to provide safe, reliable service.

We've been making beds and mattresses in New York since 1855.
Over that long history, we've been through good times and bad.
And have learned again and again, working together, the American spirit will always prevail.

These days a good nights' sleep is more important than ever and we're here to give you exactly that.

- The Charles P. Rogers Team

Handcrafted Canopy Beds - America's Bed Maker | Charles P. Rogers® Est. 1855

Are you looking for elegant, handcrafted bedroom furniture and canopy beds? You'll find a wide selection at Charles P. Rogers. Since 1855, we have manufactured original metal canopy beds, trundle beds, daybeds, bedroom furniture and linens. Some of our iron and brass furniture has been in continuous production since the nineteenth century and remains popular today.

We construct each bed by hand, as we have for over a century. Canopy beds are tried-and-true classics, appropriately proportioned and accurate to original designs, yet sized to fit contemporary mattresses for maximum flexibility. All decorative elements are hand-carved, cast or forged using original patterns from our archives.

To complement our bed designs, our fine linens are made to our precise specifications by the oldest European and American mills -- designed to look good and to last a long time. We also offer a special collection of linens for your trundle bed and daybed, including bed skirts, dust ruffles and comforter covers.

We remain a small company by necessity, as our products cannot be mass produced. The advantage for you is that our staff understands and cares how a bed is made as well as how to get one to your home in the safest, most efficient and economical manner.

We offer our merchandise directly to the public from our New York City factory showroom, King of Prussia and Hackensack stores, and our Florida warehouse store, and our Web site. Products listed on the Web and in our catalog are currently in production or in stock allowing us to offer substantial savings from custom-made pricing.

To order, please call us toll-free at 1-800-582-6229 or visit one of our showrooms. We look forward to assisting you in any way possible.

Canopy Beds

Handcrafted Canopy Beds

Elegant and dramatic, a canopy bed instantly brings an air of romance to your bedroom. Our exclusive canopy bed designs are made individually with traditional bed making techniques. We use hand forged iron, solid, poured on frame castings and pure brass to make our canopies the most attractive, sturdy and refined canopy beds available today. All decorative elements and the overall height on each bed are properly proportioned for attractiveness rather than simply adding a canopy to an existing bed style. Our canopy beds are built with the Charles P. Rogers commitment to exacting detail, straightforward assembly and a beautiful finish for a lifetime of your enjoyment and service.

Iron Canopy Beds
Our hand forged canopy beds are made from solid iron bar, heated and after pulling hot from the fire, hammered into decorative designs. All castings are unique to our extensive archive and are cast directly on the frame for strength and a precisely detailed surface. Finishes are put on in by hand in multiple layers for a soft and warm glow unmatched by simple paint. Canopies fasten together securely and all of our canopy beds have our solid steel inner frame system to provide years of durability and support.

Canopy Beds with Open Foot
A great modern lifestyle option on many of our brass and iron canopy beds is the low or open foot board. These more open canopy beds provide the same sophisticated traditional and contemporary styles, yet allow a more open feeling to the bed especially if put in a smaller room.
