Looking for discount prices on full size wood sleigh beds? At Charles P. Rogers, we sell direct from the factory to the public, bypassing traditional distribution channels to offer you, our customer, the best pricing on high-quality hand-made sleigh beds. Wood sleigh beds bring sophistication to any bedroom. We have a wide selection of traditional and contemporary wood sleigh beds made from the finest solid American Cherry and Mahogany hardwoods and selected rare veneers.
Because we build each bed ourselves, our control over design, construction and finish is the best in the industry. Whether it’s a modern open foot sleigh or a more traditional high footboard model, every bed is properly scaled for range of mattress heights yet retains the authentic and graceful character of the original design.
When Charles P. Rogers founded our company in 1855, little did he know that his company would be as long lived as the beds he made. Today we celebrate over 150 years in business with an ever expanding selection of beds that includes classics from our early days, contemporary designs from the entire 20th century and premium bed linens.
Each of our sleighbeds is an original, beautiful design focused on refinement of line, attention to detail and substantial construction. Our experts carefully grade, select and kiln-dry the wood used for each bed, carefully inspecting and properly laying out each piece for the final assembly. Our craftsmen use traditional joinery and careful assembly to insure a precise fit and to allow natural seasonal movement of the wood.
Much of the detailing is done with sharp hand tools imparting a quality not seen in average production furniture. The surfaces are carefully prepared with extensive hand sanding to insure proper finish adhesion. Our exclusive multi-step finishes bring out the beauty and character of the wood grain and will develop an even more beautiful patina over time. Offering both sleighbeds and daybeds in American Cherry and genuine Mahogany, we bring the best of bed craft from our factories directly to you.
By necessity we have remained a small company as our products cannot be mass-produced. The advantage for you is that our staff understands and cares how beds are made and they know the best way to get them to your home efficiently and economically.
Since our inception, we have manufactured and sold our products directly to the public from our Manhattan factory showroom or by mail or phone in our catalog. Our warehouse in New Jersey is also open to the public. Right now, a large selection of our most popular styles are in stock and< available at substantial savings from made to order prices. Simply order online, by telephone or by visiting one of our showrooms. We look forward to assisting you in any way possible.
