The Covid-19 situation is still evolving. No matter the change, our first priority will always be the health and well being of our customers, staff, and partners. We are monitoring and adapting all health and safety recommendations as currently expressed by Federal, State, and Local authorities. We will be updating our procedures and policies as required for the health of our communities.
As always, our master bed makers, warehouse, and support teams are still on the payroll, ready to provide safe, reliable service.
We've been making beds and mattresses in New York since 1855.
Over that long history, we've been through good times and bad.
And have learned again and again, working together, the American spirit will always prevail.
These days a good nights' sleep is more important than ever and we're here to give you exactly that.
The metal platform bed is an essential design element of today's contemporary bedroom. With the rise in popularity of modern design, metal platform beds have grown to occupy an important niche among our contemporary bed styles. With clean lines and a sleek lowered profile, the platform bed can transform almost any bedroom into modern sanctuary.
Inspired by the finest examples of American, European and Oriental furniture design movements, we offer one of the finest in metal platform beds. It is a unique, beautiful creation that you won't find anywhere else, built for you with the same skill and quality as our more traditional iron and brass bed styles. As with all of our platform models, it is designed to use a mattress alone (no box spring) so its integrated frame structure and solid wood deck ensure proper mattress support, even in king and California king sizes.
When Charles P. Rogers founded our company in 1855, he could hardly have imagined that his business would be as enduring as the beds he made. Today we celebrate over 150 years of business with an ever-expanding selection of models and styles, including classic designs from the nineteenth and early twentieth century, as well as contemporary designs from the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. We also now offer premium bed linens that complement any of the beds in our collection.
The products you will find on our web site differ from those on other sites and in catalogs or stores. Each is an original, exclusive design, made in our own factories and available for you to purchase directly from the manufacturer. Do not be fooled by inferior imitations or cheap knock-offs. We use authentic materials and processes in their construction, paying particular attention to proportion and detail in order to retain the integrity of classic designs while accommodating contemporary mattress sizes and linens.
All of our products are made to the same high standards and offer quality and value that becomes ever more apparent over a lifetime of ownership. Our wide range of prices is representative of differences in material costs and complexity of construction. Because of the factory-direct nature of our business, all of our prices represent substantial discounts over what you would pay for similar quality in traditional retail chains or specialty stores.
By necessity we remain a fairly small company as our products cannot be mass-produced. The advantage for you is that our expert staff understands and cares how our products are made and they know the best way to get them to your home securely, efficiently and economically. We are also dedicated to resolving any unforeseen issues that may arise during your purchase and ownership and welcome the opportunity to add you to our growing list of delighted customers.
Since our inception, we have manufactured and sold our products directly to the public from our Manhattan factory showroom or by mail or phone via catalog orders. Our warehouse in Port St. Lucie, FL is also open to the public. Right now, a large selection of our most popular styles are in stock and available at substantial savings from made-to-order prices. Simply order online by placing an item in your shopping cart, order by telephone, or visit us at one of our factory showrooms in PA, NJ, or NYC. We look forward to assisting you in any way possible.
