The Covid-19 situation is still evolving. No matter the change, our first priority will always be the health and well being of our customers, staff, and partners. We are monitoring and adapting all health and safety recommendations as currently expressed by Federal, State, and Local authorities. We will be updating our procedures and policies as required for the health of our communities.

As always, our master bed makers, warehouse, and support teams are still on the payroll, ready to provide safe, reliable service.

We've been making beds and mattresses in New York since 1855.
Over that long history, we've been through good times and bad.
And have learned again and again, working together, the American spirit will always prevail.

These days a good nights' sleep is more important than ever and we're here to give you exactly that.

Leather Daybed - Daybeds | Charles P. Rogers® Est. 1855

Looking for a unique leather daybed? You'll find one here. For over 150 years, Charles P. Rogers has manufactured original headboards, beds, daybeds, trundle beds, canopy beds and bedding. Our product line has evolved to include brass, wrought iron, wood and leather daybed styles as well as high quality bed linens that will complement all of our elegant beds.

Our Alana daybed, in the tradition of mid-century design, makes subtle, sophisticated use of squares in a contemporary form. Upholstered in white fabric or vintage brown full-grain leather or micro fiber over a hardwood frame. Base is solid mahogany construction in your choice of finishes.

Most of our daybeds use a standard twin mattress, An optional trundle unit stores a mattress underneath the daybed. The trundle pulls out and pops up for use as a second bed when needed.

The framework for each of our leather beds is handcrafted from kiln-dried hardwood. Upholstery is built up in multiple layers to provide an appropriate level of firmness and comfort with special attention given to maintaining the shape and contour of the final form. Premium heat-sensitive high density foam is a feature exclusive to many of our beds. The advantage is that it conforms to the required shape yet returns to its full, original contour when the pressure is removed. The comfort is unmatched with the added benefit of retaining its full, upholstered form without sagging or wrinkling. The bed rails are solid planks of plantation-grown mahogany and feature a concealed, solid steel inner rail that provides superior center and perimeter support for the mattress and boxspring.

By necessity, we remain a small company as our products cannot be mass-produced. The advantage for you is that our staff knows and cares how beds are made and we understand how to get them to your home efficiently, economically and professionally assembled.

We offer our products directly to the public from our website, Manhattan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania factory showrooms and catalog, as well our Florida Clearance Center.
