The framework for each Charles P. Rogers leather bed is handcrafted from kiln-dried hardwood. Our leather upholstery is built up in multiple layers to provide an appropriate level of firmness and comfort with special attention given to maintaining the shape and contour of the final form. High density foam is exclusive to many of our beds. This advanced material conforms to the required shape yet returns to it's full, original contour when the pressure and heat are absent. The comfort is unmatched with the added benefit of retaining its full, upholstered form over an extended period of time. Great care is taken in the actual upholstering process to ensure a high quality fit and finish. Tufting is done by hand in the traditional manner. The bed rails are solid planks of plantation-grown mahogany and feature a concealed, solid steel inner rail. This provides superior center and perimeter support for the mattress and boxspring.

We begin with a well engineered frame for strength and carefully construct it to reflect the final details of the design. Hand button tufting, individually applied tacks and solid hardwood rails and feet are just some of the details which make our best leather beds the benchmark of quality and style.
Leather Beds and Headboards
Combining modern or classically updated shapes with traditional workmanship, our leather beds range from the elegantly tufted Hampton bed to the sleek and sophisticated Wing bed; an adaption of a wing back chair design. Details include thick, full grain leather and selected leathers which are hand wiped for an authentic antique appearance. Leathers are attractive and supple but retain the strength, durability and soft hand. Our button tufting is always entirely hand done using traditional techniques. Brass or silver decorative tacks are individually applied and precise welting accentuates the contours of the designs.
