Wood and Leather Beds | Charles P. Rogers® Est. 1855

Looking for high quality wood and leather beds?  You'll find a good selection at Charles P. Rogers.  For over 150 years, Charles P. Rogers has manufactured iron and brass beds, headboards, daybeds, trundle beds, and canopy beds. Our product line has recently evolved to include wood and leather beds and headboard styles as well as high quality bedding and linens that perfectly complement our elegant bed designs.

Our exclusive Chesterfield bed pictured here is grand in both scale and detail and is perhaps the quintessential leather bed design. It is fully upholstered on the front and back in antiqued auburn brown full grain leather and is hand-tufted with matching leather-covered buttons. Our exclusive use of high density foam for padding is extremely comfortable and ensures that the headboard and footboard panels will retain their forms over time. The hand-turned feet and bed rails are solid mahogany. Avilabile in Queen and King Size.

The framework for each leather bed is handcrafted from kiln-dried hardwood. Upholstery is built up in multiple layers to provide an appropriate level of firmness and comfort with special attention given to maintaining the shape and contour of the final form. High density foam is an exclusive feature on many of our beds. This advanced material conforms to the required shape while you are sleeping yet returns to its full, original contour when the pressure is removed. The comfort is unmatched with the added benefit of retaining its full, upholstered form without sagging or wrinkling. Great care is taken in the upholstering process to ensure a high quality fit. Tufting is done by hand in the traditional manner. The bed rails are solid planks of plantation-grown mahogany and feature a concealed, solid steel inner rail that provides superior perimeter and center support for the mattress and boxspring.

By necessity, we remain a small company as our products cannot be mass-produced. The advantage for you is that our staff knows and cares how beds are made and how to get them to your home efficiently and economically.

We offer our products directly to the public from our website, Manhattan factory showroom and catalog, as well our New Jersey Clearance Center. Products listed on our website and in our catalog are currently in production or in stock allowing us to offer substantial savings from our regular made-to-order prices.

Order online, call us toll-free at 1-800-582-6229 or visit one of our locations. We look forward to assisting you in any way possible.
